With all these leafs falling, you just need to have a break and enjoy a hot coffee, a strong breakfast or a delicious piece of cake. That’s exactly the reason why we’ve decided to take you for a visit in one of these peaceful coffee places of the most popular areas of Prague, this week: Vinohrady.
1) Kafe v kufru
“The tiny cafe with a homely atmosphere“, this is exactly how I’d have called this place! You’re automatically charmed at the entrance thanks to a very stylish decoration. Their homemade lemonade is a must try. Did I mention that coffee was good? Yes it is and the staff is more than welcoming.
Well, not what you’re basically looking for in a coffee place but they have this very interesting selection of soda, delicious breakfast and above all a cozy atmosphere that makes this place so special. The surrounding nature will pleasantly surprise you. The coffee is very good and they have completely awesome donuts! Most probably the tastiest in town. Pretty rare in Prague (so I was kind of forced to mention it).
3) Doruky Drink
If you’re looking for a coffee and you’re lost somewhere between Korunni and JZP, here’s Dorunky Drink! You can’t miss it, it’s a very trendy poshy vintage tiny place where you order a coffee to go from a window just like this horrible cheeseburger at Mcdonalds. Fresh juices from even more fresh fruits will literally made your day. They also already rescued me couple of times from a death by hunger. You should give a try to this delicate Avocado chlebicky, priceless!
Their nut and apple pie tastes great! Prices match the quality and location of the company. The interior is very funny and nice staff. Excellent coffee, portion of cake are quite large and taste great too. Could be a negative point but I’ve to admit that I really appreciated it: an interesting warm atmosphere due to people sitting very close to each others.
First of all go there for admiring this very old Prague building recently reconstructed. It’s full of independent gallerists, design shops with very expensive stuff but the architecture! To take a rest, they situated the Bohême café on the middle floor just under a very unique chandelier. It’s the perfect spot to sit and relax, work on your computer while enjoying a super tasty Ethiopian coffee in a very relaxing atmosphere, I love it!
